Project Awards 2007

Province of Ontario - Air Quality Network Upgrade
DR DAS has been awarded a project by Environment Canada to provide assistance to the Ontario Ministry of the Environment to upgrade their ambient air monitoring data collection and data management systems. Ontario Ministry of the Environment ran a DR DAS test system for 4 months prior to award. DR DAS is supplying its EnvidasFW data logger software for Ontario's automated air monitoring stations and the Open AQM Data Management Center software for central data management and analysis. Data will be hosted in Oracle 10g. The system features on the fly data quality review and publication to an agency Intranet site.

University of Iowa Power Plant - CEM and COM Continuous Monitoring System Upgrade
DR DAS is installing Envidas for Windows data acquisition systems to replace the obsolete Odessa data loggers at this four(4) unit power plant on the campus of the University of Iowa. The current DR DAS Open CEM solution is being upgraded to the .Net version. The SiteView HMI .Net program calculates all regulatory required values. The SiteViewWeb program allows control room operators and other plant personnel to interact with the system. Data is hosted in MS SQL Server 2000.

Northwest Territories - Air Monitoring Public Web Site
A public web site based on DR DAS's SiteViewWeb, is being developed. The public web site will run under the Windows 2003 Sever operating system using the Internet Information Services web server. Data will be hosted in SQL Server 2000.

Project Awards 2004

State of New Mexico - Air Quality Network Upgrade
DR DAS completed a project for the State of New Mexico Environment Department to upgrade their ambient air monitoring data collection and data management. DR DAS supplied its EnvidasFW data logger software for the State's air monitoring stations and central data management and analysis software for the central office in Santa Fe and three regional locations. The system features on the fly data quality review and publication to a .Net Intranet site and a public access web site. The public web site runs under the Solaris operating system using PHP and the Apache web server. Data is hosted in Oracle 9i.

Northwest Territories - Air Monitoring Network Upgrade
DR DAS provided the Government of the Northwest Territories with central data management software to transfer and process data from a network of Campbell Scientific loggers installed across the northern tier of Canada. Working with Campbell Scientific staff, the logger software was modified to provide automated calibration control. The system features on the fly data quality review and publication to a SiteViewWeb Intranet site. A public web site deployment, also based on SiteViewWeb, is planned for 2005. The public web site will run under the Windows 2003 Sever operating system using the Internet Information Services web server. Data will be hosted in SQL Server 2000.

US Army Center for Health Planning and Preventive Medicine (CHPPM) - Air Monitoring Network Upgrade
DR DAS supplied an expanded licence to CHPPM to support unlimited monitoring station deployment at forward bases throughout the world. Air monitoring is performed in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan as well as at CHPPM Headquarters in Aberdeen Proving Ground MD. EnvidasFW loggers run automated monitoring stations and push data via XML documents back to a server at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in DC. Data is accessed by HQ and forward area personnel via the SiteViewWeb ASP.Net web site.

Puerto Rican Cement - CEM, COM and NESHAPS Continuous Monitoring System
DR DAS replaced an obsolete Unix based CEM data aquisition system at a cement plant in Ponce PR. The Open CEM solution included the EnvidasFW software to acquire data from the plant's Allen-Bradley PLC network. The SiteView HMI program calculates all regulatory required values. The SiteViewWeb program allows control room operators and other plant personnel to interact with the system. Data is hosted in MS SQL Server 2000.

SiteView HMI & EIS Web Site - The SiteView HMI and the EIS ASP web site have been merged into an integrated .Net application consisting of a SiteView NT service that performs all network communications, data collection, calculations and alarming. A SiteView HMI client provides a human machine interface, connecting to the service component via TCP/IP. These clients can be located on any machine while the service is typically installed in a 24x7 server hosting environment. A third component, SiteViewWeb is an ASP.Net application for web based interaction with the data collection process.
